How to Become Debt Free with Bukisa
Wouldn’t we all like to be debt free? You can use your freelance writing on Bukisa to become debt free. You can also make use of the vast financial knowledge and expertise provided in Bukisa’s articles to help you manage your money and become debt free.
As you write for Bukisa and begin to earn that extra income, put to use these tips:
Make yourself a budget. List all of your expenses including your house payment/rent, utilities, groceries, gas, clothes and all other monthly recurring bills. If you have bills that you only pay quarterly or twice a year, make sure to include those. Add up all of your bills and subtract them from your monthly income. This will show you what money you have to work with. If you don’t like what you see, cut out some of those expenses such as the $6 Latte’ every morning, or the Dunkin’ Donuts.
Stop using your credit cards. Hack them up and toss them in the trash. You are paying the cost of your purchase plus the interest which is going to make that total that you have to work with a lot smaller than just using cash for your purchases!
Start using your extra cash from your freelance writing to pay off your debt. If you spend less, stop using credit and then put the extra cash on the debt. It will get paid off a lot sooner and give you some much needed breathing room. Making a significant extra income freelancing will not happen over night, but many writers make one or two thousand dollars a month writing for sites like Bukisa. Not only could many people pay off their debt, they could live off of that much as their primary income.
Be diligent. Once you are making an amount of money that you are comfortable with, start paying off your debt religiously. Take the money from your PayPal account at a set time, such as the first of every month and pay down your debt.
